Labour Party Conference

Thanks to Big Society Capital who arranged for The Rochdale Skill Mill supervisor Matty Jones to attend the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool. Matty spoke on the panel titled:

“Unlocking Britain’s Future: Can socially motivated investment create better chances for young people?” RH Justine Greening Chair

It was a great opportunity to discuss how Social Outcomes Contracts can help scale solutions to the major issues facing young people and for MPs and other delegates to hear about the first hand experience of Matty in delivering support and training and job outcomes to some of the most marginalised young people in the country.

The feedback from delegates was overwhelmingly positive and we were able to celebrate the sustained success of the programme over the past 8 ½ years and especially with the recent scaling that has resulted from social investment.
