Please support The Skill Mill with World Cleanup Day 2022

At The Skill Mill we are a small dedicated team working to break the barriers to employment for young people with criminal records. We do this by employing young people in work caring for the natural environment. This activity has led The Skill Mill to be selected to lead the UK in organising World Cleanup Day. On the 17th of September this global civic action mass participation event will take place and push towards a cleaner world.

The British Airways Better World Community Fund has agreed to match funds raised to support the organisation of WCD this year up to £5000. Please help support this effort and make World Cleanup day 2022 the biggest yet. The funds will be used to employ a volunteer coordinator and provide tools, equipment and support materials for event organisers across the UK. We are aiming for over 100,000 participants this year beating our previous record of just over 80,000 during 2021.
